Paintballing June 2008

June 2008 saw our first Paintballing trip and it was great fun. The day started with a convoy drive to the predator paintballing site in Tralee. They are a very professional and helpful crowd and we highly recommend them. You can find them here www.paintballireland.com. We got decked out in our military gear and received our guns. We all agreed to only use the guns and no matter how heavy the fire became we wouldn't resort to hand to hand combat using our Taekwon-Do skills.

The first games was to capture the enemies flag which was housed in their fort. Having such a talented fighter, competitor and sniper such as Mr. Fradgley on our team such ensured our victory. Admittedly we had to fort which was easiest to defend but even when we switched to the forts we still pulled off a great victory.

Next we went down to the woods where one team had to defend a highly fortified castle overlooking a valley while the other team had to attack up the hill. It was great fun and our indomitable spirit really helped as we ran up the hill under a hail of paintballs.

After two games here we made our way back into the open and had a territory battle reminiscent of those large gun battles from the American Civil War. We finished the day with a free for all before retiring to a well deserved and welcome bbq.

Mr. Fradgley said, "It was a great day everyone enjoyed themselves. My particular highlight was getting to shoot my students. That's great fun!" Thanks to Mr. Fradgley for organising the day. I wonder did any of his students get to shoot him back!
